IMPORTANT SYSTEM UPDATE RELEASE
During the webinar, participants were given a detailed overview of the new features, including the ability to train and apply their own classification algorithms using both private and public reference data. This functionality enables users to tailor crop mapping workflows to their specific needs, regions and crop types. The webinar also introduced the WorldCereal Processing Hub, a user-friendly web interface that allows users to easily launch and monitor processing jobs directly in the cloud, making the system more accessible and operational for a wide range of users.
Throughout the session, WorldCereal experts provided an in-depth overview of the system’s classification approach, which now incorporates AI foundation models to boost performance and adaptability. These insights were followed by a series of live demonstrations showcasing how to train and apply personalized crop models, as well as how to use the Processing Hub for streamlined cloud-based workflows.
