Webinar: WorldCereal Phase II

18 April 2024

During this webinar the WorldCereal team explained more about the major achievements of WorldCereal Phase I (2020-2023), the objectives and activities planned for Phase II (2024-2026) and how to get involved.

WorldCereal Phase II: what to expect and how to contribute?

Starting from December 2023, the ESA WorldCereal team continues for another 3 years on pursuing its ultimate goal: providing an open, user-friendly, cloud-based processing system for global cropland monitoring at field scale.

During this WorldCereal webinar the project team summarized the major achievements of WorldCereal Phase I (2020-2023), explained the objectives and activities planned for Phase II and highlighted how the user community (you!) can get involved through the sharing of in-situ reference data or participating in our planned capacity building activities.

The webinar (recording) consists of a series of short presentations, intertwined with short polls to gather feedback and at the end a dedicated Q&A session.
